What this site collects

Two things, both of them ours: what you type into the contact form, and an anonymous count of which pages get read. Nothing is sold, shared, or sent to a third party.

In short

  • No cookies. This site sets none, which is why you were not asked to dismiss a banner.
  • No third-party analytics, advertising or tracking. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no social widgets.
  • No external requests. Fonts, styles and scripts are served from this domain. Loading a page here contacts no other company.
  • We cannot see your IP address. Our network translates every visitor to a single internal address before the request reaches the server. This is an accident of how the connection is made rather than a privacy measure, but the effect is real.

The contact form

If you send a message, we collect the name, email address, subject and messageyou type. We use them to read your enquiry and reply to it. That is the only purpose.

The form does not write to a database. Your message is turned into an email and delivered to our mailbox, so it lives in our email for as long as the conversation is useful — and we delete enquiries that came to nothing after two years. Our mail is hosted by Google Workspace, which processes it on our behalf as our mail provider.

The form is protected against automated abuse by a short-lived token and a rate limit. The rate limit counts submissions in memory and keeps nothing after a restart.

Analytics

We count page visits using Umami, which we run ourselves on our own servers. The data never leaves our infrastructure and no analytics company receives it.

It is cookieless. Nothing is stored on your device and no identifier follows you between sites or between visits. For each page view it records the page address, the referring page if you arrived from a link, and coarse details your browser announces anyway — browser, operating system, device type and screen size.

What we are trying to learn is whether anyone finds this site and how. It is not possible for us to identify you from it, and we do not try.

If you would rather not be counted, any content blocker or your browser'sDo Not Track setting will stop it, and nothing on the site depends on it working.

Server logs

Our web servers keep ordinary access logs — the page requested, the time, and the response code — which we use to find faults and to see that the site is up. They arekept for 30 days and then deleted automatically. As above, the visitor address they record is our own network's, not yours.

Your rights

Paduma Technology Inc. is established in Quebec, Canada, and is subject to Quebec'sAct respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector(as amended by Law 25). If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you closely comparable rights and we will honour a request on either basis without asking which applies.

You may ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you;
  • give you a copy of it, in a portable format;
  • correct it if it is wrong;
  • delete it.

Write to contact@padumatech.com and we will respond within 30 days. In practice, if you have only read this site there is nothing to return: the analytics hold no record that identifies you. If you have written to us, the thing we hold is the email you sent.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you may complain to theCommission d'accès à l'information du Québec, or to your own supervisory authority.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We will not start collecting something new and quietly leave this page as it was.
